Story

Did you ever have a song pop into your head after not hearing it for a couple decades? That's what happened with this week's OHW, perhaps one of the best break-up anthems ever written. Salt in My Tears came out in 1983 and peaked at #36 on the Billboard charts, but its indelible mark was made on me after seeing its video on MTV (unfortunately, the quality of what's downloadable isn't the best). Martin Briley may be a bonafide "one hit wonder", but he did spend most of his career as a session musician for the eclectic likes of Meat Loaf, Donna Summer, Ian Hunter and Tom Jones and composed songs recorded by Celine Dion, *NSYNC, Kenny Loggins, Pat Benetar, Gregg Allman and even Barry Manilow. I doubt he cries for any wasted years...

BTW since I didn't have the audio track I put something equally fun its place...and who's more fun than TJ?
