Story

If you were alive in the 70s you probably remember Merv Griffin, the King of Daytime TV. Not only was he the genius behind Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!, which are both still very much alive and kicking, but his talk show ran for 21 years before going off the air in 1986. 

Four years earlier, Merv gave an unknown band from San Diego their national TV debut. The Monroes performed what would be their only hit - "What Do All the People Know?" - and even though they toured with the likes of Toto, Greg Kihn, and Rick Springfield their label abandoned them and their single couldn't save them from their pending obscurity with only one self-titled EP under their belt...
