Since I just returned from a riverboat cruise down the Danube (hence last week's lack of a OHWW selection), it only seemed appropriate that this week's hails from a German trio...named Trio. The full title of this irrepressibly catchy, nonsensical tune is "Da Da Da ich lieb dich nicht du liebst mich nicht aha aha aha" ("Da Da Da I Don't Love You You Don't Love Me Aha Aha Aha") and its English version was a moderate hit on our shores in 1982 (reaching #3 in Canada, no less). However, most people probably remember it best for its brilliant resurrection when it was featured in a quirky VW Golf commercial fifteen years later...
