Mental As Anything was virtually nothing in the US, but this quintet of cuties should have rivaled many of their ilk in the early 80s since they were HUGE down under (I'm referring to their native land, not their...you know...case in point, they were inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association's Hall of Fame in 2009). Anyhoo, I'm giving them extra credit for having a giggle-inducing name, and in this video they appear to be tipping their hats to a very American (albeit fictional) band we called The Monkees.
