From the recording 80s ONE-HIT WONDERAMA

A few obscure 80s bands became a little less obscure thanks to John Hughes. If you ask me, he was a pioneer for creating kick-arse movie soundtracks (I still own 3 of them on vinyl). No music ever was superfluous and not only did he accurately capture the essence of teen angst in movies like The Breakfast Club and Some Kind of Wonderful (where "I Go Crazy" was featured), he brilliantly underscored it with songs that resonated with audiences as much as the film did. Flesh For Lulu never made it far past college dorm rooms (and never really charted in the US) but every time I hear this song I think of Eric Stoltz. And that's definitely not a complaint...
